Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital in Bradford is looking for a dependable and hardworking Floor Care Specialist who takes pride in keeping spaces spotless. What You’ll Do:
- Keep our hospital floors looking sharp—sweep, mop, buff, strip, and wax using commercial-grade equipment
- Deep clean carpets and perform scheduled floor maintenance as needed
- Support overall cleanliness and infection control throughout patient and common areas
- Follow safety procedures and environmental service protocols
- Work independently but also communicate with the Environmental Services team and nursing staff to prioritize high-traffic and high-risk zones
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in floor care, including carpet cleaning and floor buffing
- Ability to operate heavy-duty cleaning equipment confidently and safely
- Strong sense of responsibility and the drive to get the job done right
- Self-starter who can manage time well and follow through without constant supervision
- Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Preferred But Not Required:
- Experience in commercial cleaning or hospital environmental services
- Knowledge of floor maintenance techniques like stripping/waxing
- Certification in environmental or custodial services a plus
