Materials Handler - Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital Bradford
Full Time, 40 hours/week Monday through Friday
Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm
Base Pay: $18.00 - $20.00

Duties:
- Stock central store room, stock East & West wings. Make sure all chargeable items are tagged
- Stock cart for closets (TCU, West Wing, Lab room)
- Help move beds and mattresses
- Maintain adequate inventory level of at least two weeks supply including emergency par levels. Forward supply requisitions to Corporate Materials Management
- Medline orders done every Monday for Nursing, Skin & Wounds, PPD’s (once a month for TCU)
- Distributes supplies to each department
- Maintain the Copy Room and copiers, fax machines, keeping sufficient stock of paper, toner and supplies
- Monitor patient charges using Kardex system. Send patient charge cards to receptionist for billing
- Responsible for outgoing mail and postage meter
- Order, charge and return specialty equipment
- Coordinate equipment management process and communicate with Biokinetics company as needed
- Product and Standard Committee. Member of Fire and Safety Committee
- Assist with Dietary’s orders, receiving, checking emails
- Disposal of boxes for Thursday deliveries
- Organize all deliveries and receivables
- Begin orders on Friday for following week: receiving orders, Medline, Fedex, UPS, Amazon, GeriMed, etc.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic computer skills
