$93,500 - $110,000 annually

Primary Duties:

Establish departmental scope, goals, objectives and standards
Supervise Respiratory Therapists
Coordinate interdepartmental services and provide clinical supervision to staff and student RTs
Develop and oversee respiratory program policies, procedures and standards to ensure compliance with JCOHO, CARF,DPH and other organizations
Applies geriatric and rehabilitation knowledge and skills to patient care
Actively participates in the development of specialty programs related to pulmonary care
Submits periodic reports of departmental activity, profitability, productivity, and program clinical outcome to DON
Conducts ongoing program evaluation
Monitors and assures that proper equipment inventory is maintained to meet the needs of the respiratory care department
Ensures that the arterial blood gas are maintained in accordance with all state, JCAHO and CARF standards
Develop and implement respiratory care orientation and educational programs in collaboration with other director competencies
